A mushroom bolt is a log cut from a healthy living tree for the production of gourmet mushrooms.

Each log is 30-36 inches in length and 4-6 inches in diameter. All logs are cut from Sweetgum trees and produce mushrooms incredibly well. Depending on the diameter of the logs, and log management practices, logs can produce from 2.5-4.5 lbs of mushrooms per log over their lifespan and produce mushrooms for 2-4+ years. Sweetgum is also a good species for several types of Oyster, and Nameko mushrooms and show promise for others. Please note, logs are being sold as fresh cut logs and are NOT inoculated with spawn.
